This is when my adventure really began.
The Inca Trail is one of the most famous walks in the world. It is 43kms long and packs in inca ruins, the stunning Andean mountains, cloud forests, sub tropical jungle and on the last day, the best finale of all, the Long City of the Incas - Machu Picchu.
Arriving into Cusco a week earlier I was struggling with homesickness and questioning why I had left Melbourne for so long. I wanted to go home. After those four days on the Inca Trail, my mindset was completely changed. I had met amazing people who we also continuing on to Bolivia and I had absorbed some of our guide Wilfredo's incredible energy.
In the days and weeks following the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu, I never did get round to write down any of my thoughts or notes from the experience. For this reason, I will let the pictures do the talking.
